Butterfly Thanks

Here's another card from my "Dreamin' Big" card workshop.  I pinned a card on Pinterest a long time ago and finally used it as my inspiration.  You can see that card HERE.

Isn't it fun?  I just love these colors in the "Dreamin' Big" paper pack.  It reminds me that flowers and better weather are just around the corner, right?

The "thanks" is a Thin Cut.  I cut the word twice in black and layered them on top of each other.  I think it gave the word a bit more depth in person.  I also added two strips of black & white "Jeepers Creepers" washi tape.  The tape is not currently in the catalog but it is still available on my website under the "Going Soon" tab.

I also used inspiration from a fellow consultant Nancy Ball and used a black journaling pen on my butterflies.  I think it makes them pop more, especially with this "Dreamin' Big" paper.

Isn't this a cute set?  I'm looking forward to making many more cards with this set.  I especially like that I have the matching Thin Cuts to make cutting those bugs out just that much easier.

Well, that's all for now.  Stop by again soon to see more of the cards from my workshop.  Ciao!

Wowie, this is a Darling (!) card!! The way you arranged it, the little details such as rounding only one corner . . . Excellent work!

Kandi, this is an adorable card. Did you cut your squares at 1 inch? It's been pinned and is going in my inspiration folder! Thanks for sharing. Hope you'll come visit us at the Color My Heart Color Dare again soon!

I'm not sure if you'll see this response "papercraftingprincess", but the squares were cut at 1-3/4". I hope that helps. :)
