Howdy!

I'm participating in another Close to My Heart swap because we have a new Idea Book coming out May 1st. My project was a card using our new "Sarsparilla" papers. It's a western theme set and it's pretty darn cute. Just thought I'd share what I came up with. It's called a Criss Cross card and it was the first time I've tried making one (actually, I had to make 44!). I think they're fun. Enjoy!

Well, he was just seventeen.....

and you know what I mean. The way he looked was way beyond compare....

Look at those youngsters in the photo! Nice outfits!! This photo was taken 19 years ago today! Chico was 17 and I was 18 (cradle robber). This is the anniversary of Chico's and my first "official" date. I should mention that we were on our way to Chico's Senior Prom. I know the 80's fashions were a bit wierd, but I didn't make it a daily ritual to wear green lame'.

We actually celebrate this anniversary more than our actual wedding date because that didn't happen for another 8 1/2 years!! Happy "Anniversary" Chico! I love you!!

Some random Jaxon stuff

Well, looks like I haven't been doing a very good job of keeping this blog updated. I thought I'd just post a few random photos of Jaxon...
03/18/08: Jaxon at his first t-ball practice. We think he likes it, but he won't give you a straight answer if you ask him.

After t-ball I told Jaxon to put some jammies on and he came upstairs with this outfit. He says he's got a "flipper foot". He got a glove from the doctor's office one day.

The next night when I told Jaxon to put some jammies on for bed, he came up with this... A hat from St. Patty's day and a wig from one of their halloween costumes. That's our wacky boy!!

Jaxon's also really been into his trains lately. He does a great job of building the tracks on his own. I've been trying to take some photos of them every now and then. Here's one of them with the "engineer"..

Traveling back in time

I just did a layout (my 2nd - boy I'm really flying through these, ha ha!) I pulled out the photos from Halloween 2006 when Mateo & Jaxon went as Batman & Robin. I just loved these costumes with the fake muscles and all. Just thought I'd share my work. Enjoy!
